Oh yeah.. I forgot

I forgot to put this in my last post but I am trying to put together a play list. Mainly faster songs for working out. If any of you have any songs you particularly love to listen to especially when working out, send them my way via comment. I only have about 2 songs at this poin and I need to work out but refuse to without some good songs. No songs is my excuse to be lazy. Help me be active :)

I'm Not Missing!

It's been a long time since I have posted and a REALLY long time since I have posted anything of any substance. The last couple were just to say I blogged, but were not important.

So, first off this

ROAD TRIP!!!

Steve and I have planned a road trip to St. George/Las Vegas. We are going to Stay at the Hilton in St George because we get a KILLER deal through IHC and then we are going to take a day to go to Las Vegas! I can't wait. We are going April 10th. We havent had just a fun vacation where it was care free for a long time. Well since our honeymoon at least. We definlety need this time to just go have fun together. Forget about his school, forget about work and just play. We are only going for that weekend but we are both very excited.

On another note, I love this boy!!!

I am so thankful that we have this adorable little boy! He is like my own child. I know, thats kinda sad but its true. I can have the WORST day possible and come home and have everything made better because of him. Don't get me wrong, Steve makes me even more happy but if Im having a bad night, he has school a lot so its this boy who gets to deal with my emotions. If I start to cry he immediatly comes to me and cuddles and gives me kisses. I know, thats probably gross to some of you but not me. He is so sweet. Im not going to lie, sometimes I take advantage of him. I pretend to cry just so he will come running to me. I love it! I can always count on him to be there for me when I get home, excited as ever to see me. He doesn't hold grudges against me and loves me for who I am. Everyone needs a little Tucker. He is just the second best thing to an amazing husband! (don't worry Steve, you are still my #1)

(Oh, and I love my other dog Lacey too, but I had to just spotlight Tucker this time.)

Give Me A Break!

Enough is enough! Honestly, I am so done with swollen feet and ankles. Im not sure whats going on but they were so extremely swollen last night that Steve descirbed by toes and "Little Sausages." Really? They have become that unattractive that they look like sausage? That is just so sad! Nothing seems to help them either. I can't fit my feet in any shoes except flip flops, which is against dress code at work. Even if I didn't wear flip flops I would be breaking dress code because I would have no shoes on. So I think its better than nothing. I have rubbed them, elevated them, wrapped them, taken a diuretic etc. All possibilites have been done. I sure am tired of them being swollen. Its embaressing and very painful and all around annoying!! I would post a picture but I dont want to be known as "Katy the Freak!"

Baby Shower Dip

Alright, so I had a baby shower at my house today and was told I need to post a blog a with the receipe to a dip I made. Its very simpley. It doesnt really have a name but it is good with wheat thins or ruffles potato chips. I should have taken a picture of it before it was all gone. Oh well I'm sure you can use your imagination on how it looked.

1 regular size cottage cheese

1 8oz plain cream cheese

1 bunch of choppoed green onions

*Mix all together. Its best if it is cold.

That is it folks. Its very easy and super tasty. I made it the night before the shower so that the onion flavor would set in more. But it can be done right before serving too.

Right now...

I'm totally loving Paula Abdul, Straight Up! Seriously fabulous song. I can sing pretty much every lyric and I even have my own special dance moves. One day I will show you all. That is if you are lucky!

If I could figure out how to upload the video or song to my blog I would post the goodness of it all. Check it out on you tube if your curious to see it and just picture me :)

Newest Member of the Quarter Century Club

Saturday Katy turned the big 25. I can make fun because I'm not a member for the quarter century club for another 4 days. It's her 3rd birthday I've been able to share with her, and while we weren't living with family giving us the ability to go on a weekend getaway and to see Rascal Flats like last year, it was equally enjoyable. I wanted to make sure she doesn't forget that she's my obsession, my love, my life! We did by the way celebrate this year by going out for some great food with family (Katy's sister Kim was in town from Seattle), played some American Idol Karaoke on Wii, and ate some surprisingly decent cake (my 1 a year) after I screwed up the first one. Lets make year #25 the best year! I love you honey! Here's to the rest of eternity with the one I love!

I wanna dance with somebody...

So Steve and I are on the activites comittee in our ward and 2 weekends ago we had a valentines Sweethearts Dance. It was a lot of fun, and turned out to be quite great success.

A few days before the dance my cute friend Emily and I decided we would "ask" our husbands to the dance in a cute way, like you did in highschool. So we baked cinnimon rolls and then bought a little dump truk and wrote a note saying " I want to haul your "buns" to the sweethearts dance." love, ????
I thought It was a way cute idea. I dropped the surprise off at my neighbors house and she did the same for me. We both made sure o ur husbands answered the door. I happned to be "busy" when she came and dropped it off. He was so surprised and so happy. His face was so cute when he saw it. I told him he had to guess who did it. Of course, he knew it was me. I tried to get him to answer me in a cute way, but it was 2 days til the dance and really.. he had no choice, he had to go anyways.
