Too soon my friend, too soon

Christmas music BEFORE Thanksgiving to me is wrong. I am tired of it already, especially since the radio plays the same song every 5 minutes. The differnce is its just sang by differnt people. It's still annoying. They need to stop. We don't even get a chance to focus on Thanksgiving with all this christmas music around us. Maybe, I am just a scrooge.. that is a very large possibility!

I know!!! I totally hate that!!! When I was working at the pharmacy the only stations we could listen to were FM 100 and Cozy 106.5 and they both start their christmas music on Halloween night. . . not even joking! It would drive me insane! Its sad cause I love Christmas music but by the time it is Christmas time I'm so sick of them I have to turn it off!!

I think I have a slightly different take on this. Probably because I'm not forced to listen to the music at work. When I turn on Christmas music it is of my own choosing.

Last year was the first year that I didn't listen to Christmas music before Thanksgiving. All of the sudden Thanksgiving was here, and I was totally not in the mood for it. For me Christmas music speaks as much about gratitude as it does about the fun and spiritual aspects of Christmas. Christmas music helps put me in the mood for Thanksgiving.

I've been ringing the bells for 2 weeks now.

Totally agree. I seriously think Thanksgiving needs to be over before I see any Christmas lights, and Christmas movies, before I hear any Christmas songs on the radio. Or else I get sick of it.

I love love Christmas, but I can't have it before giving thanks for Thanksgiving.

I am totally into the Kenny Loggins and Barry Manilow Christmas Album. I also love some me some Gladys Knight but I prefer the Pips more. I also love this Christmas song song and try to listen to it whenever I can:

Normally I would have said that I couldn't agree with you more but just this afternoon on my drive home I was scanning stations for something I could sing to and wouldn't you know it... I stopped on the Christmas music. I was a little shocked myself, but I must say, I had a very fun & pleasant drive home.

I miss ya Katy - I hope everything is great at your new job!
